What am I purchasing when I buy at Green Acres Living?
Your lot, the home you build on it and 1/23rd of 250 acres of shared landscape.

Can I have a BBQ on my deck or balcony?  Yes.

What type of owner storage will be available?  None.

Can I bring our family pets to Green Acres Living?  Yes.

Will I have access to all of the amenities at Green Acres Living?
Yes.  250 acres of shared landscape including 45 acre Sims Lake.

What are the maintenance charges for my Green Acres Living home?
Approx. $250/month will include snow removal, 25km trail maintenance and beach/picnic area upkeep.
     
Will maintenance on my home be performed?
Every resident of Green Acres Living is responsible for their home maintenance, inside and out.
         
Is my Green Acres Living home protected by Tarion (formerly known as the Ontario New Home Warranty Program)?    No.
 
Is smoking allowed?
Yes. On the residence’s personal property only.

How many homes will make up the Green Acres Living community?
23 homes for Phase I – Phase III.  Estate lots range in size from 2.75-12.25 acres.

What will I own?
Your home, the lot it’s built on and 1/23rd of 250 common shared woodland acres.

If I purchase a lot do I have to build right away?
No. You have up to 2 years from the date of purchase to begin building your residence.

Can I rent my Green Acres Living home?
Yes.  All home owners will be held accountable for the behaviour of their tenants.

Can I sell my property?  
Yes. First right of refusal goes to all Green Acres Living residents before public sale can occur.

Can I keep my boat at Green Acres Living?
Yes. Sims Lake is for non-motorized boats only.

Is there going to be a clubhouse?   No.

What recreational facilities/amenities will be available?
25km’s of walking/cross country ski trails, maintained beach and picnic area on 45 acre Sims Lake.

Is the development connected to municipal services?
No. Each lot comes with a drilled well and septic.

Is there a beach?
Yes.  With maintained picnic area.

Can I have guests?
Yes.  No trailers or tents will be permitted.

When will the Green Acres Living be ready for occupancy?
Phase I model home is presently under construction.  Lots in Phase I are available for sale beginning late 2007.
         
Where is Green Acres Living?  
Conveniently located 2 1/2 hours north of Toronto and 20 minutes from historic Downtown Huntsville.

Is there an elected Board of Directors?
Yes. A Board of Directors will be elected directly by the home owners at the Annual General Meeting which will take place after Phase I is complete.

Who is the developer?   R&R Campitelli

Who appoints the management company?
R&R Campitelli are acting as the management company until Phase I is completed.

Are there minimal square footage requirements?
Yes.  Your Green Acres Living home can be no smaller than 1,500 sq. ft.

What’s included when I purchase my lot?
You get the lot cleared to build, roughed in driveway, a septic system drilled well, and hydro to the property line.
